The venue is absolutely wonderful! It’s a stunning building with an enchanting beer garden; dining under the fairy lights feels like eating beneath the stars. The service we received from Rich at the bar was incredibly friendly, and the warm, genuine conversations were a refreshing change from city life. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder was simply heavenly, and the Braised Pork Belly rivaled some of the more upscale restaurants we have visited in the city! Steph, who took our orders, was exceptional—she asked all the right questions and kindly informed us that the Lamb Shoulder takes about 35-40 minutes to prepare (definitely worth the wait). Her attentiveness and bright smile made a lasting impression; my wife mentioned it immediately when I asked for highlights to include in my review. We were fortunate enough to meet the chef, who came out to the bar at just the right moment. He was incredibly polite and engaging, happily sharing insights into the preparation of our dishes. Ethan, you truly excel at your craft, and the hotel is lucky to have you. As you can probably tell, we were absolutely thrilled with our experience at the Bridgewater Hotel and are looking forward to returning more frequently this summer! We’re also hoping to snag tickets for their next fine dining dinner event. Kudos to the team! You should be very proud of your venue. We’ll be sure to recommend you to all our friends!

Instead of a steak sanga at Charlton servo we decided to continue on to the Bridgewater Pub for a meal before going onto Whittlesea. Wow... it was the best feed we have had, dining out, in 12 months. Congrats guys, we will be back and will tell our family and mates who head up and down that road, to call in and do themselves a favour. Xo
