Tacos were 10/10! Can't wait to go back and continue to support this great local taco joint!

My reviews are generally really bad or like in this case, really exceptional. It's my favorite taco spot. Always worth the trip. Just look at the reviews they get. My personal favorite is their Garcia. Thinking about it and I'm at a loss for words. It's an experience.

Takeout only!!! So enjoyed these wonderful tacos. Service was pleasant and all questions about ingredients answered pleasantly. Also tried their tamales which was excellent too.

My wife and I, read good reviews about this taco place such as ?the best? or ?authentic? therefore our expectations were through the roof. Unfortunately, it didn?t live up to the expectations. There were quite a few things that we didn?t like about this place. The tables were dirty, food leftovers all under them, it wasn?t cleaned after the previous guests left. La casa del tacos, is the first taco place that we were charged for sauces! usually sauces are complementary, not big deal if they were tasty, unfortunately they weren?t. I ordered a torta, it tasted and looked more like a Panera Bread sandwich than a Mexican torta. My wife ordered a birria and shrimp tacos. The birria taco was tasteless, it was basically eating a taco of melted cheese with a bit of meat, definitely not birria. Shrimp tacos it was ok, nothing memorable. Definitely not authentic nor the best of PGH.

The only taco that was unique and tasty was the habanero (green chilli) one. Unfortunately the tacos are not authentic nor the best, the reviews are deceptive. Especially given the price, the meal was not worth it. The birria doesn?t taste as good as it looks.
