Bidrage med feedbackMy wife and I were looking for a place to eat the first night of our honeymoon. Around Holetown, a strange new place in our first experience in a foreign country, we met a friendly man who, when we said, we were looking for an authentic Bajan cuisine, recommended Ragamuffins to us, just to discuss that he was the owner of the restaurant! Well, his recommendation didn't fall flat as we had as good as a meal (if not better) than we at the famous Tides restaurant down on the street a few nights later. Anyway, if you are near Holetown looking for freshly caught Bajan fish, do not see further this place is for real.
Nice casual food. Doesn't have the need to dress up. We really enjoyed the meal. Rumstick was good. We went a little early so it wasn't crowded. It is definitely worth a meal. We parked on the LimeGrove.
The food is real and right. Go around the corner and swim in the beach .. there is a reason why he here is more than 20 years. Large staff
The owner was friendly and was running on the street trying to find customers. The fishcakes ware uneditable, full of flour and cooked in old black oil as they ware bitter. Char grilled fish bitter and full of charcoal, need to clean it more often. They didn't have any lemon or lime for fish, rice was dry and no sauce. Only nice part of our meal ware vegetables- handful. Very expensive for an old, tired Bajan restaurant. Not recommended.
We were looking forward to visiting ragamuffin whilst in barbados but it has been shut down over 2 years now, even though their web site says they are open.
