Yard Jerk - Bridgeport

Yard Jerk food is usually good. However it doesn’t always hit the mark. My experience this morning was messed up. I asked the server what meat was in the stew peas, she told me chicken foot. So I decided to get the soup instead. I don’t really like chicken foot. She said there was no chicken foot in the soup. I see her and the other server laughing. I knew there was chicken foot in the soup because of the way they were acting. Before I ate it I checked and there was the foot. Nothing against chicken foot but I don’t like it. Just my preference. Thank God I’m not allergic to it. Which is rare. If somebody say that they don’t want something you DON’T slip it in their food. My review is they can’t be trusted!!!!! Who knows what else is in the food…They just lost a customer for some dumb stuff! That’s what people do to your business when you’re not there. They make dumb moves…that’s why businesses are losing customers and closing down.

I recently had a experience where I ordered curry chicken with them and got the stomach bug from eating the food, the food smelled sour and spoiled after I received and even when I tried a piece of curry chicken it was undercooked and had a SOUR smell to it. Very disappointing because this would be the 2nd time I gotten the stomach bug from this establishment.

Food gave me food poisoning I’m sitting in the hospital as I write this.. The food was tasty but it caused me a hospital trip so no I will not recommend

This is my third time having a very rude experience. This one lady (she's light skin, on the thicker side) she's very rude. The next time I go I don't want her to serve me . She's rude and have no manners what so ever !The owner need to do a better job and picking whos the face of the restaurant. That lady deserve to be in the back. She makes my experience sH ^FYI she's usually at Housatonic location. I guess on sundays she's on east main
