Bidrage med feedbackVery nice and quiet location. the rooms are simple, but with everything they need to spend a great night. the staff is very friendly and helpful. our hut was at the river and in the morning we could make it the water close. very relaxing. the children enjoyed the large outdoor spaces and had a lot of fun with the maisloch. they supplied each house with fish food so that the children can feed the trout they grow to repopulate the flow. great place!
The atmosphere was cute, but necessary to improve food and service. I had ordered chocolate chip pancakes and forgotten the waitress so that she sent back my normal pancakes and brought me this. Inconvenient, as she just threw chocolate chips on it. also the waitress was clearly unclear and we had to repeat our order. would never go back or recommend to anyone.
Overall our experience was good. there is a small stream with good fishing and a nice place to stay cool. eat in restaurant up the cabins and motels. the way leads to some good holes in the stream. the cabins are very beautiful and relaxing. I would suggest to manage, they repair their pull-out couch bed or replace them overall with somewhat more convenient. we plan to stay here year for year and would like to give positive reviews all over the board. the no fish in the cabin refrigerator is a small inconvenience also because our fish was great it was made for care someone can go with it outside refrigerator near the building. can be easily solved with the offer styrofoam ice cup (for fair price) and ice machine or ice machine outside. other than those little things that may be important to someone else. I can't find a single thing I don't like about Virginia-Kreek settlement.
We starve after a long journey from the bay area. the menu was shockingly expensive, over $20 for ground spaghetti and meatballs. I am used to high bay area prices, but that was over and beyond. nothing really under $20, so we thought we were for a gourmet experience. wr the suppe and the salate were good, but our escapes were terrible. watery tasteless sauces, my meatballs had bones of grit bottom in them and were hard and fies that michael’s chicken had boiled gristly upper leg bones swimming in the sauce, which the server had stabbed over the table and not tied up. the salt shaker and parmesan shaker gave no salt or cheese free. we should get garlic bread, it never came to the end when we asked. $80 for three people, and we were all disappointed. that was one of the worst meal times for the price I've ever had. I guess they are proud of large portions, but a large part of the gross food is not a good deal. I'd rather have less and it would be better to eat quality. the pizzas looked decent, but we didn't get that because we had just in the night before pizza.
I love staying at this place. It’s great. I usually stay in what is called tent cabins. The beds are a little hard. But room overlook is great. They now offer free showers to the campground area now. Fishing right in camp was great too.
