I?ve been a server for the last 5 years. However; I?m extremely disappointed with the service I receivedtoday. Upon entranced we were not greeted nor acknowledged. Your new waitress was uninformed of your menu. I don?t know whotrained her but that right there needs some more work. WE received NO greeting and inattentiveness to guests from yourbartenders. They made no attempt to ask if we?ve made an order. I waited approx. 20 mins. For a simple drink order. Mind you itwas not busy. The bartenders served one side of the bar the entire night. And acted blind to other customers in the building.Multiple people left, I assume because no one knew to order from the bar. Food came out cold, and it didn?t taste as goodbecause the customer service was terrible. As black owned businesses I advise you to do better. Uphold a certain standard withinyour business especially with your employees. Bad employees makes the entire business look. Bad. I only wrote this paragraph soyou know what?s going on and why Connecticut black owned business fail. Please do better I would like to support this again.
The food is exceptionally well. This was my first time at this establishment and I will definitely frequent it more often. I must say it's one of the best tasting SeaFood I've had in a while. I've seen the post on Instagram and just decided to go and give it a try, it was worth my 50 minutes drive. Great seasoning with a wonderful combination of spice that leaves your taste buds screaming for more. Definitely satisfaction meets expectation here
I paid this company over $3,000 to provide catering for my brunch, which was scheduled from 10 AM to 3 PM. The driver arrived at approximately 3:45 PM with only a portion of the food, and it was cold and in dirty containers. I also paid for servers because I didn’t want to handle everything myself, but no servers were present. When I contacted the owner the next day to request a refund since my expectations were not met, I was denied and only offered store credit. Why would I want store credit after such a terrible experience? I strongly advise people to stay away from this business. I wouldn’t wish the stress I endured on anyone else, especially having to call him all day and not getting any response.

I waited about 20 minutes for a simple drink, despite it not being busy. The bartenders focused on just one side of the bar all night and ignored others in the establishment. I noticed several customers leaving, likely because they didn't know how to order from the bar. When our food arrived, it was cold and less enjoyable due to the poor service. As a supporter of Black-owned businesses, I urge you to improve. It's vital to maintain a certain standard, especially regarding your employees. Poor service can tarnish the reputation of the entire business. I am sharing this feedback to highlight the challenges faced by Black-owned businesses in Connecticut. I genuinely hope you can improve, as I would like to support you again in the future.
I had to cancel my Uber Eats order, and I was really looking forward to enjoying it.
