Paraiso - Bridgeport

I will never travel to Mexico again in my life because the truly delicious and outstanding Mexican food is right here at PARAISO, located at 1026 Madison Ave, Bridgeport. I give it 5 stars because PARAISO offers exceptional food, wonderful servers, and a skilled kitchen staff. The place is extremely clean from floor to ceiling, has a comfortable Mexican atmosphere, and offers fantastic prices! Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s worth it to park a block or even several blocks away. If you've never been to Mexico, I suggest that dining at this restaurant will give you a delightful taste of it. The waitresses are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and, like most Latinas, simply adorable! I can’t wait for my next visit. Highly recommended!!!

The food was good, but they should send the salad in a separate container for delivery. When dining in, the food is enjoyable and the staff is friendly.

I ordered a shrimp quesadilla, which isn’t on the menu, but most places are usually accommodating. The meal came with rice and beans. I considered getting a side of guacamole, but at $7, it was a bit pricey for me, so I decided to just enjoy what was included with the meal. The interior is clean and quiet, and you aren't packed in close to other tables. I opted for takeout, but they do offer dining in. My total came to $17.50. Once I got home and opened it up, I was pleased to see a generous portion—heavy! I really appreciate that when I spend a lot! The quesadilla was fantastic—on point! It had fresh, plentiful shrimp and gooey cheese. The rice and beans were delicious and fresh, with the beans cooked to the perfect texture. There was also a fresh salad on the side with a slice of avocado. I was a bit disappointed that there was no guacamole or even sour cream. Fortunately, I had a dollop of sour cream at home to add, but I’ll definitely have to try the guacamole another time. Either way, I’m writing this feeling completely FULL. I’ll be back!

They make food similar to Mexican spots I been to in Mexico. They are legit.

When it comes to tacos I don’t play games. These are the best in CT. Step 1 squeeze limes. Step 2 dress heavily with the red and green sauce. Step 3 enjoy the greatness. I get the grilled chicken tacos. Order has 3 I ask for 4.
