Eveready Diner - BREWSTER

Food was good, but order was incorrect. Manager fixed it.

The 4 Piece Fried Chicken Dinner is more food than one can eat in one sitting, the biscuit was bland but everything else made up for it.

Great service. They actually answer the phone and give suggestions when your ask! I was traveling with a puppy so the helpfulness and ability to pick up at door was greatly appreciated. I ordered a steak that was large, excellent quality and prepared perfectly medium rare as requested. Manager even made puppy a little potato without seasoning!

The Eveready is never a disappointment. Burgers and breakfasts are really good here, but so are the club sandwiches and dinners. The service is always good too. And every time I go here, I tell my wife the same old joke. "What did the potato chip say to the battery? A: If you 're Eveready, I 'm Frito Lay.

Used to love this diner. It has gone downhill a lot. Home fries are barely cooked, corned beef hash is no longer homemade, hot chocolate is watered down. We were so sad that it changed. Also, we had to get up and ask for someone to take our order. Not returning!
