After the unfortunately closure of Nonna Dori, I waited for the summer to pass to see this restaurant reopen in September with new management that promised to begin a new adventure by reworking traditional dishes in a modern key. At the first taste we were not disappointed. The flavors are enhanced in the expert hands of the young and motivated managers and we enjoy them with both hands, or rather, taste buds. A simple appetizer in its composition but absolutely rich in flavours. Excellent Casoncelli from Brescia although I would have used a little more butter . For the second courses we tested the beef fondant in oil with plenty of really succulent polenta and the pork ribs also with polenta really rich and easy to eat those who eat ribs know what it means to bite into a poor quality rib . The bottle of white from the Lazzari winery is good.. unfortunately the quantities are abundant and there wasn't room to try the desserts.. but it's just an excuse to return very soon! For the more pragmatic, keep an eye on the receipt and I would say that there are all the conditions for the Trattoria del Mella to have a long life!
