Ludlow Prime - Brentwood

Glad we stopped in despite the numerous bad reviews. Staff were attentive and friendly. The cocktails weren't the best, but the food was delicious. The brussel sprout starter was especially crispy and flavorful with bacon. The blackened salmon tasted really fresh in our salads. It can get quiet smoky inside, so keep that in mind. My eyes were burning near the end of our visit.

I loved the lighting and ambiance. Drinks and food came really fast. Everyone was friendly. I had the shrimp and grits . It was okay not the best I've had for $26. Not enough Grits and they tasted very grainy and was overwhelmed by the roux . Portions were really small. If i were on a diet they would have been perfect. I wish I had tried the steak. my friends who ordered Steak seemed to be satisfied. However my co worker that also ordered the Shrimp and grits felt the same way. We were still a little hungry afterwards . The deviled eggs were good but you only get 2 eggs and the Brussel sprouts were just a wee bit over cooked more than I would prefer. The small portions and grainy unflavored grits are the only reason I took 1 star away

We visited with a group and, despite the current common issue of low staffing, our server was friendly and did an excellent job. Our drinks were crafted perfectly, and the food was delicious. We started with crab cakes and shrimp, among other appetizers, and followed up with some fantastic steaks, all cooked exactly as we requested. I opted for the mashed potatoes, but others couldn't stop praising the truffle mac and cheese. The chocolate lava cakes for dessert were the perfect way to end the evening. Thank you!

The food at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic! The truffle mac and cheese was the best I've ever tasted. My filet was incredible as well, and the dessert was a delightful finish to the meal. Our server was very friendly, and the manager informed us that our food might take a bit longer due to staffing shortages (which seems to be the norm these days). It actually turned out to be a blessing, as we could take our time and really enjoy a wonderful evening with friends.

We've been visiting this restaurant since it opened, and our experiences have always been fantastic! The oysters are consistently delicious, the steak is excellent, and the seafood dishes are a true delight. The happy hour specials are wonderful too! I highly recommend this place. It's a family-owned restaurant that takes great pride in its work. - Stan Davis
