Wimpy - Brent

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The service was excellent, with very friendly staff. The chicken tenders were phenomenal, the best we have ever tasted. Once again, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable.

If you happen to be near Wembley Stadium, I highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant. While waiting for the Carlisle vs Stockport game to start, I stumbled upon this hidden gem and knew it was going to be a great day (my team won, by the way). I appreciate classic table service with a smile, freshly cooked food, and meals served on traditional china plates with a knife and fork. The quarter pounder I ordered was hands down the best burger I've had in years (since the unfortunate closing of the Carlisle Liverpool burger joint). I promised myself I would come back soon and did just that after the game. As I left, the staff kindly waved goodbye to me. Truly priceless.

We opted for this restaurant instead of McDonald's and were not let down! I tried the delicious banana milkshake and the bacon and chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and melted mozzarella. I will surely return here again. The staff were friendly and the cafe was clean.

We visited here with friends before a convert. We noticed a very long queue at McDonalds and thought it would be nice to sit down and have a meal at Wimpy as there aren't many around and it would be a treat how wrong we were. We joined a very long queue to place an order and managed to get 2 tables as their were 7 of us. The whole place was in chaos so it was a relief to finally get tables as there was no room for all of us to queue and the whole restaurant was really hor. We finally placed our order and in all honesty staff were very sterile there was no conversation or smiling. It really felt like they were all there against their will. Once we had placed the order and got seated we waited over 50 minutes for our food. We did go up after about 30 minutes to be told it was coming and would be 5 minutes, however after another 20 minutes I had to go and ask again and was told it would be 5 minutes. I started to get really frustrated as having just spent £85 and seeing other tables to arrived and ordered after us being served just made things even more frustration. I then waited by the counter for the food as I was getting really fed up with being fobbed off. The food did start to come, however the order was not correct. As an example I had asked for my Daughter to have a plain burger and this was served with all everything still in (not great and very negligent if there was an allergy)

We chose Wimpy for our breakfast as, staying in the nearby Premier Inn, it's far superior to what the hotel offers, especially with us being veggies. We were so glad to see a Wimpy bar full stop the one on our town has long since disappeared, so it's good to see this franchise is continuing in other parts of the country. I hadn't visited a Wimpy Bar for years, and was immediately transformed back to happy childhood memories when we stepped inside. The restaurant was quiet and comfortable, and the last who served us friendly helpful. We really enjoyed our breakfasts it was just what we needed after late night out to recharge ourselves, and the milkshakes were very tasty too. We're so glad we chose Wimpy and will def be back the next time we stay at the Premier Inn.
