L.a. Chicken Shack - Brenham

Today I was on my lunch break, thought I would quickly go by LA Chicken Shack and grab a quick Shack Pack. I waited 36 minutes in the drive through with only 2 cars ahead of me. I had to wait another 10 minutes to get my food a total of 46 minutes. I wanted a chicken breast with my meal. This is rush lunch time right? they didn't have any chicken breast I had to settle for a chicken leg. my option were chicken leg or wing only. SMH!!! Worst service ever!! Not enough help, Evidently not enough food for rush hour. Unless you have a lot of time to kill and are willing to eat what they have cooked at the moment. Don't waste your time going there.

Only went to the drive-thru but the outside was very clean and pristine. Chicken is phenomenal! Juicy, fresh pieces! Great creamy Mac and cheese! They have delicious boudain rolls (similar to an egg roll) Very affordable special! Definitely going back.

Great little place to go eat. Can't beat the food for the price.

Had the two-piece dark combo and it was excellent. And the okra was very good also. Hard to find good fried chicken and this is definitely better than KFC or churches, in my opinion. I am going to try the fish next time. They said it was also good so we’ll see The next time I stop in. And prices are quite reasonable.

Went to lunch after visiting Blue Bell factory and we enjoyed this place more than Blue Bell. The people are so nice and eager to please. The place is super clean. And the food was delicious. Well definitely be coming back.
