Alte Luneschleuse Closed - Bremerhaven

We were in the Luneschleuse last summer with our mother-in-law mother and had ordered fried aal that is no longer so easy to use. Those responsible had 2 weeks to get a fresh eel or not. Then we'd have been redisposed. But loud tel. Information worked out. Result: the aal was then no bigger and no longer than a cigar, the so-called. Bratkartoffeln excessively crushed pieces, very symetric, probably from the glass and from there into the pan and the salad was bean salad, obviously also from the glass. The whole cost us 27.90€ p.P. incl. a beverage. Just inconceivable. We were so shocked that we just drove home silently. We are absolutely no Notorious Nörglers and have long used to express our wrath, but this unspeakable food and his price were always annoying theme in the family and had to be finally written.

After a long time we returned to the “Alte Luneschleuse” with friends. The restaurant is fully original and decorated with many old things. The dishes are delicious and also fresh. It's really a palate. Prices are more expensive than perhaps in the city, but these are justified. The portions are all very large so no one goes hungry again. Opening hours are from 6 pm in summer. The best way to watch online and who wants to go safe is the reservation before. Just look past it is worth it in all cases. Also the garden is beautiful, could not sit outside due to weather conditions.

We were there with our Swiss friends with 4 people and have repeatedly felt very comfortable. Once we order the Bremer Knipp, once the self-made frikadellen with sauerkraut and twice the Holsteiner Schnitzel. No one was disappointed, everyone tasted very good. The hosting was as always very nice, friendly and accommodating. We like to come back

The location, the ambience, the service and last but not least the excellent meals are recommended without reservation

Here you can always eat well! Great food, cozy restoration, no touring!! Local cuisine without a buckling... Stinte (at the stint) , the aal ... fodder as with mothers ! At reasonable prices. Not cheap but price. I have been coming to this area for more than 10 years, at least 1 visit here is indispensable!
