Alma - Bremen

Nach unserem Ausflug nach Worpswede wollten wir hier abends essen. Homepage sagt geöffnet bis 2200, also kurz nach 20:00 dagewesen. Leer, Bedienung sagt geschlossen. Auf unseren Hinweis mit den 22:00 erfahren wir, dass das Restaurant keinen Koche habe. Und im unfreundlichen Ton wurde noch ergänzt, wir hätten nicht auf deren Homepage schauen sollen, sondern bei Facebook, weil sie ihre eigene Homepage nicht ändern könnten und keinen Techniker bezahlen wollten. Wir haben deswegen mindestens eine halbe Stunde Umweg gemacht.Schade, vegetarisches Restaurant wäre interessant gewesen, aber die Art des Personals macht keine Lust, es nochmal zu probieren, falls ein Koch gefunden werden sollte.

Gisteren gegeten bij restaurant Alma, wat een goede keuken.Ligt direct aan het fietspad op een mooie locatie met terras! Hier begrijpen ze dat vegetarisch iets anders is dan gewoon het vlees vervangen. Alles vers, biologisch en zeer smaakvol bereidt. Gevulde champignons gegeten en met dadels gevulde courgette met heerlijke saus. Als dessert zelfgemaakt sorbetijs met vers fruit. Echt een aanrader. Bediening zeer vriendelijk en attent ! Vandaag wilde we er weer heen maar helaas gesloten op maandag.

The veg menu cart has food from all off the world. Very well combinations, all fresh and bio. Kindly service, nice terrace.

Die Gaststätte hat erhebliches Potential nach oben. Leider entsprachen Service und Sauberkeit nicht den Erwartungen.

Directly on the cycle path on the river Lesum is one of Bremen's best vegetarian restaurants, Alma. It's best enjoyed after a cycle tour through the beautiful Blockland to the north of Bremen, but it's always worth the visit, especially in good weather. The chef is clearly dedicated, it shows in the food. All dishes are extremely tasty and worth both the wait and the money as they use local and organic material of great quality. When they once ran out of a key ingredient the staff asked if they could replace it with another and, a nice touch, showed us the very vegetable in question. I felt very well-taken care of. I would recommend this to hungry cyclists, to families on their day out, even to wedding functions due to the beautiful view of the river.
