Gasthof - Hotel - Lamm - Bregenz

Of very sad coincidence, we were recommended to visit this restaurant. After we arrived there, we were presented with the plastic card of 2 suppen and 4 arranged. since we were not too impressed by the offer, we asked to get full menu and were informed that we were looking at one. because we had no choice when ordering something (a rain evening with two exhausted children), we have made our choice and started to wait. no drinks were mentioned in the menu, so we had to order a beer and a red wine without having an idea of type, brand and price. beer was good, wein too, but we got served wrong dish. when they confirmed it was the wrong one, we had to wait for it to be replaced. the second time we got the court, it was wrong again and they confirmed that again. after that they have practically repacked the content of the second table and served us again. so, we end eating and drinking without further arguments about food and left. besides terrible service we have, eating was not really too impressive and the price was unrealistic for such a offer. we will certainly not visit this place again, which is my honest consultation for all others as well.

This place is a bit further a field and I'm not sure if it's worth going all the way out here, because the place isn't that big. it is worth stopping a coffee or a beer while cycling at the lake. there are not too many tourist sites.

We got to know the Hotel Lamm (guest house) as part of a birthday party on a weekend. The guest house is about 100 meters from the main house, the rooms there are a little cheaper than in the main house. The rooms were suitable, we only used them to sleep, otherwise we were out and about. The breakfast buffet was good and varied. The coffee machines had to be refilled with new water or cleaned of coffee grounds more frequently, which always led to waiting times. But the staff was always immediately there and committed. This is especially true for the long time waiter and employee M., who exclusively looked after us at the celebration and must have received mileage allowance. The young man at the reception also literally stepped on the gas. The location of the hotel is good, within walking distance of the city and the lake. The hotel is very suitable for a short vacation.
