Windy City Pizza - BRECKENRIDGE

Windy City pizza is NOT a restaurant to dine in. Simply call ahead for take out. Do NOT use this pizza for children. Too often reviewers do not take into account the specific menu item and ambience (or lack of) when reviewing. The touted Chicago pizza is really a gourmet New York pizza. It is quite difficult to find Chicago Pizza outside of Chicago. Take the children to a chain restaurant; and, take the wife to a gourmet restaurant. Take the Windy City restaurant as carry out back to your condo. The Chicago Pizza is better than the average pizza, and is recommended for adults who know specifically what to order, and who are intent on carry-out.

We have eaten at Windy City numerous times on vacation, and the pizza is always excellent. It's not a fancy restaurant, and sometimes the service is slow, but it's worth the wait! They also have a lunch buffet with several types of pizza and pasta, but we usually order our own pizza. If you like deep dish Chicago-style pizza, you'll like Windy City.
