The Meadows - Breadalbane

Hubby and I came to lunch on Saturday. the first time here in a long time. eating was great, excellent portioning and I love that the Gravy/Sauces were more than enough. the staff we treated were all very friendly, polite and helpful.

Battered and crumb fish both tasted nothing like fish and as if they were baked in oil well past, it is use up to date. shocking, terrible. vegies, where watery and bland. corn on cob was surprisingly the better of them all. a bowl is only 2/3 full. I think they need to eat their own food occasionally to see how it tastes because it has to be badly improved. also with a 25% discount shop a docket we have paid too much for the quality of food. very limited vegetarian 1 option only! a year or so, I can tell them that the menu does not change.

The pub meal was excellent. The dining room was bustling, but the staff was attentive and accommodating. The menu offered a wide range of options, and we decided to share the Seafood platter, which was exceptional.

Very poor food that has been reheated from lunch. Inedible food. Was offered a free meal upon a refund but no thx. Went to an Indian restaurant up the road

Been here a few times -food is a better than standard pub fare. Last time visited with family and the pick of the meals we had were probably the chicken pocket and the vegetable stack. But none of the five were at all poor. So...... worth a visit for a good feed.
