Portofino Wine Pasta - Bratislava

It looks nice and they really try. But I'm sorry, the food we had was not Italian. I ordered pasta arrabiata that my fellow pasta eaters know as a meal with rich tomato sauce that is spicy. What I got was pasta sitting in a pool of red colored oil and bacon, no tomato sauce whatsover. I intentionally ordered pasta arrabiata because I prefer eating vegeterian meals. Despite that I decided to give it a try but it did not resemble Italian cuisine at all. You can eat better quality for the same price somewhere else.

We have just visited this beautiful facility. the place was very nice and warm. eating was delicious and our waiter was the best. I want to ask what his name was. :

Very nice surprice in the middle of nowhere ... it is another example of being a good restaurant doesn 't mean the location , but staff and menu for sure. Well-balanced value for money, not luxury one, but still very pleasent and memorable atmosphere.

Don’t order the mozzarella appetizer weird cheese and tasteless tomatoes, the price is crazy for what you get. Gnocchi was really good, but a tiny portion. Nice environment. Service was okay, but the restaurant was empty and we had to wait quite some time for the food. Overall very average.
