Bidrage med feedbackWe went there with our two kids on a rainy day, and it is a well thought out place, loved the board games and variety of games available, toys and books for kids too, but there was a musty/mouldy smell upstairs which turned the cuteness and quirkiness of the place into a feeling of lack of maintenance and care for it. I reckon that with a bit of investment and creativity it could be turned into something quite great!
We went there to see if we could play Rummicub, and we did. There is a dedicated tea room on the ground floor, but we went upstsirs to one of the games rooms. We had tea and other drinks with toasted sandwiches, which were delicious! The staff were really nice.
"Ceai et caetera" is probably the best spot in Brasov to go have a cup of tea and gingerbread cookies together with friends. The tea variety is large and is fairly cheap, the waitresses friendly and the place is cozy and quite. There is plenty of room for larger groups as well, a wide variety of boardgames await you to play and being not just a teahouse but also a shop you can buy exclusive boardgames and handcrafted items you cannot find in any other shops in Brasov.Artists can also expose their works of art (photography and paintings) inside the teahouse and exhibitions are being held. Many kind of events are being organized here often, like board game championships, music concerts, family events, training and coaching, movie projection nights, book launches, handcraft workshops and many more.Anyone visiting Brasov should go at least once to this teahouse!
A lovely place with lovely people, some fine tea and boardgames. What can you ask more? Also it's not expensive.
