Florentina's Ristorante Italiano

If you want a true American Italian food experience this is the place for you; they start you off with a fresh mini Italian bread served with a traditional seasoned oil and vinegar dressing to dip it in whilst giving to time to look over their nicely organized menu. I ordered the build your own pizza, I enjoyed its nice brick oven crispy crust and the never ending strings of mozzarella pulling off of it, not to mention the flavor of the Italian sausage! The waitress was extremely friendly and stayed on top of refills of what was the best tasting sweet tea I've ever had! The restaurant was gorgeously decorated and the music was uplifting and not too loud for conversation, however, our lunch was constantly getting interrupted by young children being allowed by their ignorant parents to wander the restaurant and pester other guests.

First, we ordered pizza and a side salad for takeout. The wood fired pizza is thin crusted with crunchy end pieces. The sauce is not too sweet and there was a good balance of sauce vs cheese and the toppings of meatballs and pepperoni. We will definitely order pizza here again and refer to others. The next night we dined in so my spouse could try the osso bucco. The shank was very flavorful, but some bites were a tad dry. It is topped with a balsamic reduction, which we didn't care for. It was too much. The shank comes on top of Parmesan Risotto, which needed more substance and was only lukewarm upon delivery. Honestly, the dish would be much better with the shank served over mashed potatoes and all topped with a savory gravy. The Tuscan soup was hearty and flavorful, but again, served at room temperature vs hot. The side salad was typical, nothing outstanding. The French fries were crispy and flavorful. The bread was okay. The service was very good and we enjoyed the decor and atmosphere.

Food service and ambiance was vey good! I would strongly recommend this as it was very pleasant and service was excellent. Management was walking around to ensure that all was perfect.

AMAZING customer service. Something went wrong with their computer system and our food was delayed, and they went above and beyond to correct something that was out of their control. Huge portions so get ready to have left overs. The place is packed so seating is tight. I was surprised how much I loved the nacho appetizer. Any of the pasta dishes were great comfort food and creamy!!

We were seated promptly received a very sweet lady as our waitress. She waited on us efficiently. We had delicious, hot food and enjoys our time! Very fun, Italian decor and style. Nice and clean!
