Bidrage med feedbackThis place is fantastic! Although we're not locals, my sister picked up some sandwiches here and urged us to check it out. I ordered the Black and Blue burgers yesterday, and today my husband and I came back for the Patty Melts. The burgers are massive, with each being a 1/2 pound, and they cook them fresh while you wait. The fries were perfectly crispy, reminding me of 5 Guys. Today, we clever and decided to SPLIT the sandwich. Don't expect a traditional dining atmosphere, as it's also a convenience store. This is a real plus if you’re camping or staying at Branson Cove and want to avoid the traffic. They have a great selection of alcohol and beer, too. If you're into fishing, you'll find bait and fishing supplies as well. The staff is friendly and courteous. I'm so glad my sister told me about this place; otherwise, I would have just driven past and missed out! I have no ties to anyone who works here or owns the place—I only stepped in for the first time yesterday. I genuinely appreciate locally owned businesses that might not get the recognition they deserve. I heard that the bar and grill behind the building has live bands on Friday and Saturday, so I'm hoping to write a review about that soon!
She then informed us that they were out of tortillas, so they couldn't make wraps or quesadillas. We were okay with that, but when my husband tried to order a bacon cheeseburger, she told him the bacon would cost an extra $3.75 on top of their already high prices. Despite this, we were willing to give it a try because of the good things we had heard. Next, when I tried to order Mac 'n' cheese for my grandson, she said they not only didn't have it, but she also didn't have a button for it anymore. Her tone was quite rude. When I made my order, they didn’t have what I wanted, and it felt like we were a huge inconvenience to her, even though we were the ones not getting what we desired and facing disrespect. In the end, we decided to leave and find another place for dinner. The saddest part was that my granddaughter asked why the lady seemed angry with us. Perhaps this woman should consider a job that doesn't require her to work with customers if she's so bothered by it.
We visited on Saturday night for dinner and to enjoy some live music. The food was outstanding! The band, Plush, was fantastic! The view was beautiful, and the parking lot was spacious. This establishment is very well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly! They even provide dog bowls for our furry friends and sidewalk chalk for the kids!
We grabbed lunch from the City Diner food trailer and it was all yummy- fried pickles (with a maple dip that was delicious), cheesesteaks, iced coffee. We sat under the Area 71 pavilion and had cold beer and shots served by the sweetest bartender. It was low key, family friendly, and clean.
Went here with some friends for a little pregame. When trying to recollect the ingredients of a shot I had tried before I received snarky comments from the staff questioning my age and if I was even legal. The woman bartender with short hair offered a shot she enjoyed making a alongside the rest of the group said why not. I ordered a well rum and coke and 4 shots for myself and the 3 other people in my group. When I received the tab, I was astonished to see $50 for just those couple items. I?m not confrontational so I didn?t say anything at the moment. But it seems a bit scammy to create the most expensive shot possible and not inform the customer. I never even got an itemized bill but I speculate each of those shots were $10 or more.
