Bidrage med feedbackCarolina Kitchen is the best soul food black own restaurant ever. The one in Waldorf ate a dinner for my son's party. When I say the food was Bombe..my my my my my my my my my.. the food was AMAZING. Everyone at the party had at least 3 plates. they don't even eat my food (Lol). The staff was wonderful that everything was ready when I got there. The service was great and this is something you can't find today. I am grateful and grateful for your service. My rating for her is over 5 stars. I give them 100 stars. Keep the excellent services. Thanks from the Scott family.
One major suggestion I have is to improve the visibility of the menu while waiting in line. It would be really helpful to have some menus with pictures and descriptions available, so that customers can make their decisions before reaching the front. This could really help to speed up the line. Once I was able to read the menu, I had already decided on my family's orders. However, after placing my order, I noticed many better options at the food bar. I wish there were a way to make changes to my order at that point without feeling awkward. If I had known about those options beforehand, I would have chosen differently. Additionally, it would be great to have labels on the food items or nearby, as I found it tricky to identify some dishes. While I know what fried chicken and mac and cheese are, there were other items I was unsure about, and it might have been easier to decide without having to ask, especially since the staff was very busy. Lastly, I noticed many customers, including myself, were confused about where to dispose of their trash. We ended up taking our garbage outside to a bin, which was not ideal. It would be helpful to have clear signage for trash disposal. Overall, I experienced great customer service and delicious food, but the navigation and ordering process was quite complicated and frustrating for a first-time visitor. I look forward to returning to try other items—I just wish I had made different choices this time!
While the restaurant itself was clean and the overall presentation of the food was impressive, I was quite disappointed with the service. The staff was friendly, which was a positive aspect, but we had to wait over 30 minutes for the jerk chicken sandwich. As another reviewer pointed out, it was frustrating to see the staff acknowledge us standing there, making eye contact, yet not confirm our order status. This involved both the cashier and a young woman who appeared to be a manager. I was even asked to wait for my order at the register so they could call my name when it was ready, which I appreciated. However, the music was so loud that it made it impossible to hear my name being called, and, unfortunately, they never called it out at all. I, along with another gentleman who was ahead of me, ended up having to inquire about our orders after an extended wait. Apparently, our food had just been sitting aside. I sincerely hope the service improves. This place has a beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and offers a nice alternative to some of the chain restaurants. For anyone working in customer service, it's important to remember the customers you serve. On my next visit, I’ll likely just order something that’s already prepared, if possible.
The service could use some improvement. While the staff was friendly, I felt like I waited a bit too long for assistance, especially when my food got cold (I really should have asked for help). It seemed like I was left waiting, with the assumption that someone else would check on me. Additionally, the restroom was lacking—no soap and a dirty, broken toilet. Overall, it's a decent place in a nice area.
