Bidrage med feedbackI'm a big fan of Indian food. I love strong, aromatic (and sometimes HOT) dishes. So when we decided to try this mauritic food, I was somehow interested because it sounded similar to Indian food. It FAR exceeded my expectations!!! It is a somewhat different flavor palette than Indian, not so hot, but also tasteful. I call the chicken Biryani. If you like Cumin, it is an absolute must try! The curry is as good; strong, aromatic, but not hot. The meat used was very good. This has become my must-go-to-resaurant when I visit Brandon. The price is right. You will receive very respectable shares for the price.
We had only one experience with this restaurant, but it will definitely get a visit or two of us once we get back to Brandon. We called an evening for a delivery and got the owner on his phone (in Winnipeg shopping for more deliveries, but he promised to be ready next night. And we were not disappointed. When we put together our elections, he made a few suggestions for dishes that would better complement the other elections. It's a little sharp, but more aromatic than hot. If you think of some types of Indian foods as some dishes are, but most are like nothing we ever had before. It is NOT Indian food as we define it and BTW we like Indian food and have enjoyed the food in the past in Chili Chutney. Because it was our last night in Brandon and the food was so good, we saved a little to bring leftovers home for our family to try to tease only them!. The aroma in the car on the way home was amazing and it was good the next day. If your first time we recommend you to ask them just for a good selection based on some of your personal preferences. We understand that if you eat there is a buffet and that you can taste a good selection of your kitchen. We wanted to order Samosa, but he suggested we try the fried yellow pea balls (well seasoned! . The Chicken Briyani is the best (all, beautiful aroma and better taste with beautiful large chicken pieces. Then he struck a beautiful lamb curry as an alternative style, and he was right. Many beautiful large, delicate pieces delicious lamb in a sturdy curry. It means it contains a salad that we assumed it was a throw, but it was also good. For about $35 incl. taxes, the owner delivered to our door and seemed shocked to get a tip. Portions are generous, I mentioned remnants this would simply have fed 3 hungry people. Enjoy!
Quick is the French version of McDonalds (though, yes, France does have McDonalds).
After a month in Paris I was dying to try some fast food from Quality Burger.
