Visiting from Winnipeg, I really admired the design of the place. The usage of wall art, a couple cherry blossom trees, and a few other ornaments art here and there is really well done, conveying the restaurant's East-Asian heritage while keeping an otherwise modern aesthetic. Even outside, you have two Chinese guardian lion statues on each end of the parking lot. I personally didn't find any of the atmosphere tacky or overdone, and wish more culturally-oriented modern restaurants followed this style. The food (Cantonese chow mein with tofu) was also delicious, and the service was pleasant and quick (non-rush hour). I don't remember the waitress' name, otherwise I would've shouted her out too. Vegetarian options: Had plenty of vegetarian choices, including tofu options for many of the dishes.
