Bidrage med feedbackBefore eating anywhere we've never been, we always check the online reviews first. There is a lot of mixed reviews about Kam Lung and that is why we were hesitant to try it. But, it is lunch time and we're hungry. As I said, never expect anything. So we went there and were greeted by a young lady who works there. As soon as everything is ok, she directed us to our table. I think we are the first customers of that day since we got there as soon as it opened. The place is nice being we're in a pandemic. We were seated at a booth. As soon as we scanned the QR code, we started to order. We had water for drinks. As you can see on the pictures below, those are what we ordered. Everything is small portions and as soon as you are done or if you want more, you can order more on the tablet (in our case, my phone since the tablet is kind of slow). Fried rice is tasty. Chicken wings is super crispy and our favourite on everything there. All the dishes were prepared for every customer and piping hot. Tempura is good. Sushi is nice. Spring roll was good as well! For next set we ordered crispy chicken teriyaki, and sweet and sour crispy chicken, beef and mushroom, egg foo yong, lo mein, kimchi, more crispy wings and spring rolls. Everything is really good! We didn't get to finish all the food so we asked if we can take them home. She gave us a couple of containers for our takeaway. And oh, we had ice-cream for dessert which is really good as well! For $18.99 per person lunch on all of that, it is worth it. Definitely would come back. Thanks Kam Lung! ????????
The service was friendly. The food was plentiful, with lots of variety of small asian dishes to order as part of the buffet. The quality of the food was mostly quite good. The sushi was not great though.
It's ok, we're visiting family in Brandon from out of town and haven't been here in 2 years. We were excited to go back, but in those 2 years, apparently the quality of the food here has gone down. Whether they're using different ingredients or a new chef, it's not working. Hopefully they go back to the way it was before, but I definitely won't pay the price they want for that, food again.
Unfortunately have been very disappointed with our last two meals. Me and my boyfriend are regulars at this restaurant but the last time we went our food was cold soggy and we didn?t get as much as we asked for on the iPad. We decided to come again today as we had previously loved this restaurant but were even more disappointed then before. About 1/4 of our food was not brought to us and we were never informed why. When we brought it to the staffs attention they told us they were sorry but were never compensated or brought our food that we had ordered. We had spent good money for 3 of us to go and weren?t even given a discount for not receiving our food. Used to be our absolute favourite restaurant in Brandon but with this experience we are not sure if we will ever return.
Being used to buffets, I was apprehensive about ordering from a tablet but I am sold. I LOVE that every dish is prepared for you. Each one comes with its own sauce so each dish has a distinct flavor. This is my Favorite restaurant in Brandon!
