Bidrage med feedbackWent here due to it being the only place that serves mimosas and opens early. Wait time was a bit long but understandable as there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. The breakfast sandwiches were very good and hot! The mimosas tasted excellent but we didn’t get a chance to order another one before we got our bill so we kinda got the point that we needed to leave. The house potatoes were not very good or had much seasoning, maybe try pairing with some roasted potatoes or hash browns instead. The waitress was nice and was trying the best she could but it was obvious she was overwhelmed. Place was very clean. We will definitely be back for lunch when visiting this town again!
Great place for meals. Staff owners are amazing. Atmosphere is friendly welcoming.
Thank you for such an enjoyable experience! The food was excellent, and getting a seat was a breeze. It was just what we were looking for during our stop. Thanks again! Paula was wonderful!
Last year, while driving through Vermont with my cousin on our way to Saratoga, we found ourselves in Brandon and in need of a meal. It was early in the day, so we decided to stop by Mae’s for breakfast, and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. The café is charming and fits right in with the lovely ambiance of the town. This year, while visiting Vermont again, I made it a point to return to Mae’s for breakfast, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. The portions are generous and well-sized, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Plus, the bathroom was spotless, which is always a plus. I highly recommend stopping by!
The food was great, the people were friendly, and I 'd probably eat there again. I like simple food, Diner-style, and I seek those places out. Mae 's is housed in an old historic brick building in Brandon, along with many other businesses. There is a pleasant park across the way, and some outdoor seating. <however> the only thing that left me bewildered was the plain black-and-white decor, overly modernized, which didn 't fit in with the kind of food served or the old building. It felt sterile and cold. Not what I 'd expect of a diner-type restaurant. I guess some people like that style, but I 'd prefer the 50 's vibe most old diners have. A single unisex bathroom. There was, though, good access for my wheelchair. Again, the food was great, and good quantity, so I give Mae 's five stars. The decor is a subjective thing. Parking: Busy parking spaces because of the large number of businesses and something always going on in the park! Only two handicap spaces. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair entry in street-level door, smooth floors. Restroom tight, but doable.
