The PIE GUYZ - Brampton

Wow! These pies are awesome! We are converts! They are full of meat (and veggies) with no filler, and come in a super variety of flavours. We bought 6 different ones and LOVED all of them.

These pies are so good! The Butter chicken is my favourite, only because I love butter chicken so much....they are all good. No complaints about any of them. Tasty, flaky, exceptional quality meat They are only $6 each or buy 6 for $30. To me, that isn't much money at all....not when I consider what some fast food places are! Anyway, give them a try. Delish!!! And like the website says, totally addictive!

When we need a pie fix there are two places we go – St Jacob’s Market or The Pie Guyz.We live in Mississauga so Pie Guyz is handier. As well as their shop in Brampton I have seen them at the Brampton Farmers Market, the Terra Greenhouses Farmers Market in Milton and a couple of times at Rib N Roll, the Rotary Brampton Rib Fest.We almost always buy the 6 for the price of 5 deal and freeze a few. My wife tends to less spicy; she usually goes for Steak and Mushroom. I prefer the Chicken Vindaloo with the occasional ubiquitous Butter Chicken or the very good Steak and Kidney.I agree with another reviewer that one pie does not make a meal but when I add a side salad I am happy. A little home made raita doesn’t hurt either, especially with the Chicken Vindaloo.

They have some pretty good meat pies, but in order to get full you need to order enough that there's just no value. My wife and I had lunch, ordered a few little items between us, and sadly left hungry despite having the experience cost what a filling lunch almost anywhere else would have.

I wanted to try these after I read an article in the Star, so I ventured out to snag a few. If you like spice (and I do!) you will love these. I tried the butter chicken pie and the potato, onion and cheese pie as well. Equally delicious and spicy. The pastry was beautiful and flaky. I expected more gravy as that's what I'm used to, but that didn't detract from my enjoyment at all. I say, give them a try!!
