Heritage Fish & Chips - Brampton

I called ahead to pick up Grilled Trout Halibut along with sides of potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, peas, rice, and Caesar salad. My order was ready as promised, just 15-20 minutes later. The fish was perfectly grilled, the vegetables were crisp, the rice was flavorful but not sticky, and the salad had the perfect amount of dressing and croutons. I was pleasantly surprised to have enough leftovers for lunch the next day, even though I am usually a big eater. My partner, who hadn't eaten all day, devoured their meal. The food was delicious and our bill came out to $46 with a 13% tip. The only downside was the location at 410 Queen/Clark, as the entrance was surrounded by litter. Despite this, I will definitely be returning for the excellent food and service inside. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent! However, I was concerned to see that none of the staff were wearing hair nets. I recommend that the restaurant start providing and requiring hair nets for all employees.

During our first day in Brampton, we preordered and picked up fish from this restaurant. The fish was coated with the perfect amount of batter and the fries were also cooked to perfection. If you enjoy fish and chips, this is the place to go.

Decided to try based on reviews. I'm glad I did it! Haddock and Chips (Fries). The fish had great taste, not greasy. The fries were great!! Not fat and you could actually taste the potato taste! That's what Fritten meant to be made! Dick and not fat!! The creamy Coleslaw was also great! Must stay in!

I've spent time on the east coast where Fish is pulled straight from the water and into the fryer. The fish is still fresh here, and their batter is outstanding. The meals aren't ridiculously expensive, and you get a real taste of their scottish influence....Order ahead during lunch and supper, because their lines become long (because the locals know the value and quality of their food) Easy, quick, convenient, and extremely tasty! Don't forget the side of coleslaw, and if you want to try Haggis or other Scottish delicacies, this is the place!
