The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and provide prompt service. The food offered is good with a wide range of dishes to choose from, all served hot.

Great service but very average food that was well presented. Wine list disappointing. The highest priced red was barely average in taste. This restaurant looked promising but sadly didn't live up to its promise.

Booked The Bull at Blackmore End for a friends birthday. Had not been there before but it was a nice drive out on a friends recommendation. The food was very nice. I had the Bull Burger which was super, one of us had the Duck which was also very good. Two of the party had steak which although they said it was very good the rare steak was quite cold which was a pity. The desserts were all lovely, so yes we enjoyed our evening. The staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful, they helped to make the evening enjoyable.

The restaurant was packed and the workers were overwhelmed, leading to slow service. My spouse ordered a cheesecake that was deconstructed, which seemed trendy but was hastily put together and lacked taste. We were informed that they were busy and were offered complimentary drinks, but we declined.

Having booked The Bull via Open Table, we arrived for our meal to find the restaurant had closed down. While we were stood with our guests, the owner arrived apologising as he hadn't been able to contact me. My fault entirely, as I had not updated my mobile number on Open Table. Thank you to the owner for driving over to explain to us.
