Lee Garden - Braintree

This is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. I highly recommend avoiding it. All the food was greasy and dripping with fat. Most of the dishes were overcooked, except for the spring roll. The prawn toast was burnt and smothered in so much garlic that it was inedible. The spring roll was burnt on the outside and soggy on the inside. Despite the description mentioning chicken, pork, ham, and beansprouts, there was only a tiny piece of ham and mostly beansprouts inside. The BBQ sauce was terrible. I ended up throwing the food in the trash. I wish I had read the reviews before going.

Place needs shutting down… should send watchdog there. Food isn’t even made in a proper kitchen it’s a shack.. if you want a side of rat droppings here’s the place to get some

Be there a couple times first time was nice last couple has went down hill had one last night ending up at 4 in the morning wee ma heed around the toilet canny cook a bit of chicken Great Wall is the way forward.

Have always ordered from Lee Garden but I'm sorry but tonight was the last time. I've been charged £1.50 fir delivery i only live round the corner. Where does all these £1.50 delivery charges go??? Your curry dishes used to come with rice now you have to pay for the rice separately but I'm sorry paying £5 for special fried rice is over the top. Sorry to say but you can't say you need to recoup your loses from covid because you have been open throughout the pandemic.

Just received a delivery from Lee Garden. Chose them as they are rated well on just eat. Luke warm food. Looked and tasted like left overs from previous nights. Decided not to finish due to fear of becoming ill. Sadly we will never order from them again.
