One of the top spots in northern Minnesota! I highly recommend Northern Cowboy as your go-to destination. The food and drinks are fantastic, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is even more delightful. Located on the beautiful Long Lake in Nisswa, Minnesota, Manager Dan truly stands out as one of the best. He’s a great person who is dedicated to serving the community. We decided to give NC another try, and it turned out to be fantastic! Our waiter, Eric, was excellent. The drink and menu options were extensive. Our food was served promptly and was delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful as well. More people need to experience NC. We’ll definitely be back soon!

We absolutely loved this place! My husband and I ordered the specials: I had the pan-seared almonds and Walleye, while my husband enjoyed the shrimp. We both had the Au Gratin potatoes, which were excellent—equal to or even better than the high-end steakhouse at the resort where we usually stay. Our children were just as happy with the wings and noodles they ordered. We also tried the Northstar Cowboy cookie, which was delicious! The service was friendly and efficient. This has become my new favorite stop in the North!

We ate here tonight and it was our second visit. The food is fantastic for the money. I ordered the almond encrusted Walleye, and it was really good. Both times I was here, I ordered her beer cheese soup, it's the only restaurant I know where to serve beer cheese soup! My fiancée ordered everything you can eat, and he really enjoyed his choice. Our server was very accommodating and went out of her way to see that we felt comfortable.

Food was delicious! Service was pretty good also. Nice atmosphere and decor.
