Dunmire's - Brainerd

Food was delicious and service was friendly and speedy. Only downside was that the burger was over cooked and on the dry side. Buffalo mac and cheese was amazing. The cornbread was like a desert but I chose to order the chocolate lava cake as well. Sooo good. Atmosphere was great as well.

This place is small, but so cute. Came with my handicapped Mother, wheelchair accessible with an electric one, would probably be hard with a manual. Must be a lively evening spot. Came on a Sunday afternoon, busy but service was fast. Food was good! Definitely going to stop again when coming through the Brainerd area.

Friend who lives in area took us here as it's there go to restaurant. Was very busy the Saturday we went.. Staff was all friendly and helped each other out. Got the 12oz ribeye with mushrooms and onions, Au gratin potatoes and vegetable. Let's just say it was delicious. Wife got the fried walleye sandwich. She said it was good but that it got a little over cooked. Pulled pork sandwich with homemade BBQ sauce looked great also. It's locally owned and not a chain. Would recommend Dunmire's.

We wanted to try a place we 'd never been, and had a great experience here in late May 2022. Tina, our waitress, was phenomenal! Friendly, quick with a smile, and has a rhythm down for being attentive (not too much, not too little). That is the sign of a professional server. Really impressed with the service we received. The food was the 'cherry on top ', for us! I had been debating between two meals asked Tina 's opinion her vote was for the Ribeye. Best steak I 've ever had...in a restaurant. Tender, juicy, full of flavor, cooked perfectly (med well).Tina was spot on, the kitchen staff knows how to do steak . My only wish: prices on the drink menu, please.

Fantastic food!! Richard our server was amazing!! He was super busy yet took time to listen,even to our 4 year old grandson who had questions!! He is a huge asset to their staff!! Thank you all for a great experience on our first visit and we will be back!!
