Bidrage med feedbackThis is the second evening we have dined at The Fleece Inn and we certainly were not disappointed. The food us outstanding and steak and ale pie is that crammed with meat the local butcher must be laughing. The service is second to none and the drink is crisp and cold. Highly recommended if you're Haworth but remember to book, it gets busy. 10/10 all round
Popped in for tea with the mrs and mother in law. Friendly welcoming staff, great choice of beers. Ordered the steak and ale pie, was beautiful. Lots of melt in the mouth chunks of steak and plenty of gravy. Chips were chunky and tasty as well. Gammon was excellent too. Definitely back soon. Thanks to the team for squeezing us in at the last minute. Keep up the great work!
Reasonable All round. Reasonable value traditional pub with a good atmosphere. Decent beers, good selection of Timothy Taylor’s. Dog friendly. Food was reasonabley priced, and as a result was generally reasonable. The pie comes in one of them pots with a lid but does have pastry all round, which sadly ruins it slightly as the pastry to filling ratio means it ends up rather dry, but a bit of extra gravy does sort that. The peas, however, come in an unfathomably small skillet for some bizarre reason? Onion rings though are phenomenal. The fat chips are on the dry and flowery side but again, it’s reasonably priced food. £50 for 2, 2 course meals, 2 pints and a Gin Tons.
Only 1 star because when you enter, order drinks, pay for them and then be told kitchen too busy to take anymore food orders, even though sat at a table !! with 2hrs left of ordering time. Not nice listening to female bar staff using foul language and calling customers. Management could do a whole lot better here, will not return.
This restaurant is absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We stayed in Haworth for three nights and visited the Fleece Inn on Monday evening, our second night in town. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to return the following evening and even booked a table for Tuesday. It's great that they allow dogs too. I highly recommend this place.
