The food was outstanding and delivered by a thoughtful server who genuinely cared about our dining experience. It was top-notch service that we will definitely revisit in the future.

I recently tried the sweet and sour chicken balls from this restaurant and was very disappointed. The chicken was tough like leather, the batter was terrible, and it seemed like they were either reheated or frozen. Overall, it was a disgusting experience.

We have been ordering from the Orient for over a year now. We don't typically order takeout often, but wanted a Chinese option delivered to us about once a month, so we decided to try the Orient. Our first few experiences were not great as the chips were always stale and not fresh. After complaining, the quality improved sporadically. Some meals were good, while others were disappointing. Unfortunately, the meal I had last night was terrible. The main dish was okay, but the chips were still reheated and the onion rings were dry and inedible. I voiced my concerns and the Orient offered to replace the food, but we have ultimately decided to stop ordering from them due to their inconsistency. It's a shame because when the food is good, it's really good, but serving reheated food from the previous day is unacceptable and will only result in losing customers.

I ordered a 2 person meal platter for £13 and on receiving the order I was very disappointed with the quantity. It was definitely not a two person 'meal ' in any sense of the word. It was nothing more than a snack! I feel ripped off and will not be ordering from this restaurant. The food was not fresh as it arrived on my doorstep within 5 minutes of being ordered. I called the restaurant and they couldn 't care less. They were not concerned to receive a bad review. It was a case of 'tough '.

This is the first meal we've had at the Orient Chinese restaurant... Our takeaway food was brilliant... It was delivered almost half an hour before estimated... We would recommend this restaurant to others... Thank you...
