Bidrage med feedbackGreat Sunday Buffet all food hot and great selection. Kingfisher on tap and popadoms for our little one. Excellent value and highly recommend.
The dining experience at this restaurant was more than just good – it was exceptional. The flavors of the Madras, jalfraizi cauliflower side dish, and the delicious Keema Nan were unforgettable. Despite being located across town, this will now be our go-to curry restaurant. Outstanding in every way.
Used this restaurant for almost 25 years, it used to be the best curry place in the Bracknell area. So good in fact that we ordered a take away nearly every Friday night for years on end. Every so often you’d get a blip and have a not so good curry, but that all changed this summer. From August through September every curry was way of the mark. We had 4 weeks of well below par, and had a 2 week break. Went back and the next 3 were worse. Once amazing curries lacked flavour, ingredients and on at least 1 occasion was so bad we binned nearly £40 of food. We later found out that the restaurant had been sold, and was no longer part of the little chain it had belonged too. It is a shame as the manager, Tarik is the loveliest man, but the place has gone right down the pan, and so, after 25 years and goodness only knows how many take always, eat ins, buffets and recommendations, we are out. A once amazing curry house is now one to avoid, we are using other local places now, they are nowhere near as good as the Amir once was, but alas the glory decades are over. If you are looking for a good curry, it doesn’t live here anymore. Sad days.
We visited this restaurant on a Friday evening and were warmly greeted on arrival. The restaurant isn't very big but is light and airy and nicely decorated. The tables are spaced sufficiently and you don't feel that you're on top of each other. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The mixed starters were very well presented and tasty. We ordered Chef's Special Chicken and a Lamb dish as our mains, both were excellent. Very tender meat with lovely flavours. The Amir and it's sister restaurant Koh I Noor seem to be the only Indian restaurants in Bracknell that still serve alcohol so it was nice the enjoy a Cobra and a bottle of wine with our meal. Not the cheapest Indian restaurant but the quality of the food, service and decor makes it worth every penny! Well done Amir we will be back to see you again. Thank you
I often order takeout from this restaurant because I live nearby, but I have also dined in. The food is consistently excellent, and they are willing to accommodate any special requests. The Sunday buffet has a great variety of options, and you even get to choose your preferred naan bread which is cooked fresh to order - truly fabulous!
