I have always found Village Tavern to be a good place be to go for a decent meal. Prices have always been fair. Food for the most part was good. Had a little difficulty with the cleanliness of their utensils, but the Manager was very receptive to our criticism.
We stay in the same area where the Village Tavern is located. It is a very nice restaurant with an outdoor area if you are so inclined. They have a great early bird dinner, for $20, that includes soup or a salad, an entree with two sides and a glass of wine, beer or soft drink. The food and service is superb. With so many dining options in the Boynton Beach area, the Village Tavern should be at the top of your list.

I’ve dined at the tavern at least 50 times over the past few years, but during my last visit, I was disappointed to find my prime rib cut very thin. My friends, who have praised the prime rib in the past, were let down as well. Additionally, they ran out of the two wines we had ordered. Our server, Brad, looked embarrassed when we were told there were no other bottles available. I hope this doesn't happen again in the future, but unfortunately, this experience has led us to consider finding a new favorite place to eat.
