Bidrage med feedbackI stayed here for 2 days and must admit that while the lobby is nice and the pool area/grounds look great, the rooms themselves leave a lot to be desired. I am a Marriott rewards member and I 've stayed at Marriot hotels MANY times over the years. The decor in the rooms seemed dated. The first room I was given had some weird odor in the bathroom and they didn 't offer to move me. They sent some guy who poured some freshener around and said, I don 't smell anything. I moved to a new room the next day that seemed to be somewhat better.MARRIOTT beds are usually awesome but these were not overall the location and stuff outside the room are better than the rooms themselves. Also, the rate wasn 't bad if that matters. I wouldn 't say it 's horrible. I would only say my expectations for Marriott were a little higher than this.
This was my second visit to this hotel. It can be a bit challenging to find on your first try, and parking is somewhat difficult since it shares a lot with other businesses. If parking were better, I would have rated the hotel with five stars. The room was updated, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside for me was that housekeeping wasn't available since I was only staying for three nights; I generally prefer daily housekeeping. The staff was polite and helpful.
I spent 15 days at the Courtyard by Marriott from May 16 to May 31, 2023, and I was extremely pleased with all the staff. Given that I rely on two canes to walk, they went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. One employee who particularly stood out was Alex, a front desk agent. When I realized I hadn't brought a charger for my phone, Alex kindly lent me his personal phone adapter until I could buy one for myself. Thank you, Alex!
Rooms and common areas need a serious refresh as it’s way past due and kind of dingy. As a former Marriott employee and frequent traveler it’s very disappointing to see how far the Marriott standards have fallen. I used to give Marriott 95% of my lodging business and as a result of their decline, I will continue to phase them out until my rewards points are depleted.
I had a terrific experience at this hotel. The young man at the Front Desk was very helpful and was great. I arrived a little early but was able to get into a room and get some work done. The pool was so relaxing and I got some great sun after my meeting. The surrounding area was great as well with shopping and dining choices. The free parking was a bonus as well. I will return!
