Great beers, excellent service and very cool music it's great to have a place like this in the neighborhood

Loved the hero 48 beer and the whole story behind it they also have some great wheat beers with cool artwork to describe the beers

I visited this establishment for the first time on 20 May 2023 and must give my opinion because it left me very disturbed and disappointed in the staff. I came in and I was the only customer at about 1 pm. I had 3 beers. The drinks were outstanding but the lady behind the bar made me feel very uncomfortable. First, she was not very friendly and kept looking at her phone the whole time and was not interested in conversation at all. But when I did initiate a conversation about the building, and the business and beer, things finally seemed normal until I mentioned my personal preference in beer at home. I commented that I normally drink Hamm 's beer at home and switched from Bud Light because of their price increase. I also mentioned that it was before the latest promotion featuring a LGBTQ person as a spokesperson which, as I commented, I am opposed to personally but think should be allowed in a free and open minded society. From this point on, the employee gave me the cold shoulder and kept her face buried in her phone. I could tell she was upset. At that point I paid my $21 tab and got out. I left a $5 tip but did not even get a thank you. TO THE BUSINESS OWNER Jack and Doe 's Pizza : I 've eaten at your restaurants in Findlay many times and several of my relatives were employees of your business. When I go out to eat or drink and pay good money for food and beer I don 't expect to be confronted about my personal political or social beliefs. When I finished paying my tab at the Bowling Green Beer Works, on departure, the employee made a point to tell me, By the way, Hamm 's Beer supports LGBTQ. Which explains why she had her face buried in her phone researching about my personal beer preference. REALLY ?! I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS BUSINESS AGAIN AND WILL SPREAD THE WORD TO ALL MY FRIEND, FAMILY AND NEIGHBORHOOD TO NOT GO HERE.

This is a compact venue with about a dozen brews on tap. Talking about compact, from the front, the building blends in well with surrounding residential structures, so it 's very easy to drive past. Don 't doubt your Waze app or GPS look closely for a large driveway that wraps around to the rear of the venue, where the bar area opens onto a rear parking lot. There are a handful of seats inside at the bar area and outside on a patio. As for the beer, there were a dozen varieties on tap when I stopped by, spanning many styles nicely instead of being focused on, say, IPAs. I tried the Pink Squirrel Strawberry Belgian (Belgian blonde), schwarzbier, Oktoberfest (marzen), and Burning Couch (Irish red ale), all of which were reasonably light, drinkable, and representative of their styles. Not a bad place to stop if you want to sample some of the area 's breweries. It was ironic, however, to be greeted by an older bartender who gave me absolutely nasty looks while also being friendly with other customers and telling them how you can see someone 's soul reflected in their faces. Case in point.

I didn't realize Checkers moved in town! Who knew? The change in ownership has had a big impact on the ambience, clientele and the beer, itself. It probably would've been better if all the townies weren't smoking weed on the patio, also. Or maybe not? Jeez it's hard to tell at this point.
