Sweet Boys Diner - Bowie

Our waitress, who is the daughter-in-law of the owners, was prompt and helpful. She was knowledgeable about the menu and incredibly personable, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We ordered chicken strips with mac and cheese, a chicken salad sandwich on a homemade croissant, homemade chips and salsa, and chicken fry. Everything was delicious! As a fan of chips and salsa, I can confidently say that this was some of the best I've ever had! If you're in the mood for a dessert that reminds you of what Grandma used to make, you need to run to this place immediately! The pie crust was perfect and the meringue was piled high, fluffier than I've ever seen. Both the chocolate and coconut pies were exceptional! However, even better than those desserts was the oreo cake, which was definitely richer. My sister would love to get her hands on that recipe, but it’s clearly a closely guarded secret! We will definitely be stopping by again the next time we're in town for a sporting event!

It was a bustling spot, and we had a brief wait to be seated. The food was excellent, and the service was attentive. I highly recommend giving this place a try; you won't be disappointed!

The food was quite good, tasty, and I enjoyed the complimentary pie and beer. The prices were also reasonable.
