Best place to eat in Bowdon ga for home cooking. Hamburger steak is Awesome along with catfish dinner! Never disappoints

We picked up lunch today at Southern Lady and I was pleasantly surprised at their food bar. They had several meats, breads, vegetables and cobblers. We had the fried shrimp with fixings and I believe they are the best shrimp I've ever eaten! The restaurant was busy but there was plenty of room to eat comfortably. They have a different special everyday but I believe most anyone can find something they like. Our meal for two was under 14.00. We will definitely go back!

Excellent hamburgers and hamburger steaks with fries and cole slaw or salad bar. Great service and nice small town restaurant.

Perfect example of small town America. Best breakfast within 100 miles! They have a Saturday morning breakfast buffet but honestly you can't go wrong with anything on the breakfast menu. Friday night is a seafood buffet full of fried seafood. My favorite is a bacon cheeseburger and I get tater babies as my side which is a crispy fried and seasoned tater log. Always friendly service and the owners are wonderful people. Southern Lady is a Bowdon staple!
