Waffle House - Boutte

Our waitress was great, but when my father got served spoiled milk. She took it back and tested all the other milk in the fridge. She told what I guess would have been the manager. After about 5 minutes instead getting more from somewhere, he just put the spoiled milk back in the fridge. It wouldn't be Waffle House without some chaos. During my visit, the restaurant was severely understaffed, with only one waitress and one chef on duty. They were definitely doing their best to juggle all of their tables, and I felt sorry for them, but they managed to hold it together. The food was tasty, and the service was as good as could be expected given the circumstances. It's tough to excel when you’re overwhelmed with multiple customers at the same time. I really hope they can bring in more staff because those two must have been exhausted after the shift. Food: 4, Service: 3, Atmosphere: 1.
