Urban Beach - Bournemouth

Arrived to a unapproachable rude man,who was unhelpful and not a people’s person.wouldnt help with seating and was actually very arrogant.will never go there again as food mediocre and man so rude.ruined my nice evening

Visited with the Dashunds of Dorset group today. Made so welcome and they even served dog food. Food and service excellent.

First time visit and delighted with the place. Four of us had several (more than several) drinks, two courses and a bill split two ways for £70 each including tip. Great value. Had the slow cooked pie delish others had risotto and equally good reviews. Puds good, Beers good, g&t good, atmosphere good, all round good experience. Will be back.

Eggs and toast were cold. Would have complained but our sons were treating us and we didn't want to make a bid deal of it in the circumstances. Not surprised no-one asked if we were satisfied.

The service was really poor, there was no leadership in terms of the waiting staff. People were wondering around and laughing amongst themselves whilst not being attentive to the tables. There were a number of mistakes made on different peoples orders (you can hear everything as it 's a tiny restaurant). The most annoying part of the evening was the girl who kept calling us and everyone else 'darling, my love and SWEETS ' I am none of these things to you so please stop talking like that and address people properly, it was every other word! Food was ok, nothing special.
