Bidrage med feedbackI hate to read bad reviews about eats and treats as I 've never had one problem here. I am disabled and I go in on my scooter on Tuesdays. The staff are always very helpful and friendly towards me with regard to bringing my coffee and food to my table after I order it. The coffee is the best around in my mind and the food is served hot and tasty, so what are people moaning about? The service is superb and freshly cooked. It 's a not a fast food restaurant so it 's always freshly prepared to order. I always enjoy it and look forward to seeing them for lunch. I think it 's a great atmosphere there as they don 't pester you or come round asking stupid questions like 'is your food ok sir ' or 'would you like anything else sir '? They give a wonderful service and leave you alone to eat and drink at your leisure, which is how it should be done in my mind! Keep up the great service and wonderful food, especially your coffee as it 's the best! Thank you eats and treats, you are excellent in my opinion! Joe.
I visited Eats Treats while shopping at Castlepoint over the weekend. The restaurant only had outside seating, which was not great in the rain, but I enjoyed a good cup of tea, friendly staff, and a variety of affordable food options.
Miserable waitress brought over the food I'd ordered to my table. I asked for some HP sauce and she scolded and tutted but eventually brought some over. I asked for a knife and fork and she looked at me indignantly then pointed across the cafe to where they were and told me i had to get them myself. She sauntered off to chat to the other server behind the counter (There were no customers). I went in search for the cutlery, all the while my food going cold. Made to feel like an inconvenience. Won't be returning.
Whilst at Castlepoint we wanted lunch and everywhere was so busy but we came upon this cafe on the lower floor and found they had tables. We got a lovely spot in the sun. You order and pay at the counter, it is also important to note that they take cash only, no cards. There is an extensive menu of all day breakfast items, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and cakes. We ordered coffee, a jacket potato with coronation chicken and a sausage bap. Total bill just over £15. The drinks were made whilst I waited and the staff gave me an order number for the food which they brought to the table when it was ready. Everything was nice. Sauces were available and you help yourself from a central area.
I had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. I highly recommend trying the jacket potatoes and paninis, especially the bacon and brie panini which was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
