Bistro On The Beach - Bournemouth

Annoyed to see such shocking critical reviews of this site. beautiful location, sitting immediately, also welcomed our dog. was blown away from eating. not at all what we expected. ordered the prawn cocktail, expecting a few small portions in a small plastic cup, received the complete opposite! leave them beautifully on a hot thin toast, delicious garnels and smoked salmon. my lammburger was phenomenal. my partner was not a fan of the crab, but we both agree to be a brandy and we don't have enough to make a judgment about it yet. the chocolate torte was so delicious it was amazing and the fresh limonade was so delicious. pity that we are here only for a few days on vacation. otherwise would have been completely reversed

This place was such an unexpected surprise. many seats outside and inside with magnificent views. the portions are absolutely massive. I would certainly recommend to share a main between two people, reasonable prices. the personal is very friendly. eating is fresh and good and delicious. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

Brunch was nice, the staff and the manager were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there was a mix with the order and we got a normal full English when we thought we wanted vegetarian. the manager was absolutely in order and ordered the vegetarian for us. the food was good, the location nice, we'd go back, and dog friendly too!

Bistro on the beach is always on our list of favorites. good food, great location with sea view. great reward after a walk from the hengisbury head. today kristina recommended her special. and omg! what a wow effect! thank you!

My wife and I really felt like fish and chips on the beach and the Bistro on the Beach exceeded our expectations in every way. Excellent service, big, perfectly cooked and crispy fish, chunky and crispy fries, cracked salt, tartare and mushy peas. Excellent coffee and a stunning location.
