La Marmite - Bourg-Saint-Maurice

We luckily stumbled on this restaurant on the third evening of our stay at Arc 1800. The food was great, true to the region and one of our favourite Tartiflettes during the entire stay. Special mention of the way they also prepare the burger course completely unique and delicious! Service was great and this was easily one of the most memorble meals of our entire stay. If you like a glass of white wine with your meal, the more expensive bottle of Viognier (about 26 euro) was one of the finest i've sampled.....and I have tried a few in my time! After the tough two years the hospitality industry and ski resorts have endured, this is the kind of restaurant and team that deserve a prosperous future! We will definitely book a couple of evening meals for our family when we return to Arc 1800 this December. Meilleurs Voeux!

Great place for dinner in the evening, friendly staff and tasty food, the staff are happy to adapt the menu for vegetarians too. It’s cosy and intimate, booking is recommended.
