Bidrage med feedbackDo not even think about staying at this hotel. asked for a suite and was told that having a service dog did not made me eligible for one...told me nevada has no service dogs specific laws. arrived at the room around 8:30 pm just to find out the air conditioning was off because they do not feel 112 degrees is hot enough and they believe they are not responsible for turning it on. the room is dirty and very poorly manteined... the ceiling is peeling and all the stuff falling down. wireless for free????.there is no wireless service at all!!! customer service at the front desk. just rude, unprofessional, inappropriate, careless and worse....ignorant. i will check out tomorrow first thing in the morning and make sure i will search for a real hotel.
I 've been visiting Lake Mead and Boulder City for decades and have consistently stayed at my usual hotels in the area. When a last minute lake trip came up and I went to book at my usual place, they were all booked up. After hunting around, I came across the Boulder Inn and Suites. Desperate, I just booked the room and didn 't research. (bad idea We arrived on a friday afternoon and it took about 45 minutes to get checked in. The girl running the front desk was OBVIOUSLY high as a kite and while scratching her already open sores, she slowly checked everyone in. While I was waiting with about 10 other people, the Manager Bret emerged from the back, swiftly asked the girl if she had everything under control (to which she replied 'Ummmmm?? and was about to leave. I asked if he was the manager and he said Yes. I said Don 't you think instead of leaving this girl with almost a dozen people in the lobby, you should maybe help? to which he replied Sorry MISS! I have been here since 4:00am and I have two properties to run! TWO! So I really don 't care about what you think I should be doing. Wow! I would have walked out right there but it was getting late and I had two tired kids. I let it go, checked in, and went to my room. This NON-SMOKING room smelled like someone had smoked 2 packs a day in it for the past 2 years! I didn 't let my kids take their shoes off or touch ANYTHING. You could SEE the layer of dirt on everything. I went to take a quick shower and found a huge amount of pubic hair layering the inside of the shower curtain. I made my kids sleep in their cribs so that they couldn 't touch anything and reluctantly went to sleep. My husband couldn 't sleep so he watched the happenings of this lovely place through the night, including the front desk girl having her drug dealer make a drop for her. This place needs to be shut down by the health department. It is not worth any amount of money to stay there. Staff is rude and inconsiderate and the place itself is disgusting! Don 't let their cute pictures of their themed rooms fool you. Those are equally as filthy.
Nasty hotel. 1 wash rag per room. TV must be on an antenna given all channels come in a pretty snowy background. Oh you might also bring a bar of soap too; one sliver of soap. What a dump!
I 've never stayed at the Boulder Inn Suites. But I unfortunately went into the bar that is attached to the hotel The Inner Circle Lounge. It is one the most unfriendly, uncomfortable and unorganized messes I 've ever encountered. And I 've been in some pretty divey places. I 'm sharing this review on the hotel review site because I think the owners of the hotel should know what an abysmal mess the bar is. First, walking in there was like walking into a grade B biker thug movie. Imagine walking in and having the 5 people in the place stop their conversation and stare at you. I guess I wasn 't part of the inner circle . I stayed the course and thought okay, I 'll just have a drink and some food and be on my way . No reason to get offended. Stupid me. Sitting at the bar were three old biker dudes leather jackets, bandannas and all. The (famous) name of their motorcycle club embellishing the back of their jackets. Turns out these guys are the owners of this lounge. I 'll call them Unfriendly, Surly and Inappropriate. Typical biker dudes. They talked loud enough that i was forced to hear their misogynistic bull ****, bad language and all. Whatever, its a bar. I heard the term old lady so many times, I thought I was going start laughing. Total cliche biker caricatures. I ordered food. It took 30 minutes to get it. In the meantime, my entertainment was watching and listening to the two female bartenders snipe at each other. All I could think was please don 't let there be a catfight. Mistakenly tried to make conversation with a patron sitting near me. What was I thinking? This was a Twilight Zone episode and I was the alien. Note to self: practice cussing and saying old lady a lot. I probably need to be more surly. There was a large scale community event happening out on the street in front of the bar and hotel. The bar has huge picture windows. Its one of the reasons I went in there. To be able to watch the event and get something to eat and to be able to sit down. I am somewhat disabled and standing too long is a painful problem. As it turns out, I would have been better off standing on the cold hard concrete. Far more comfortable in the long run. Having enjoyed enough of the Real Bartendresses Of Boulder City episode playing live at the bar, I decided to go sit near the window and watch the event outside. Just quietly sitting by myself. Not bothering anyone. Looking out the window. Suddenly one of the owners , Mr. Inappropriate, appears by my side. He informs me that I am not really watching the event outside. He says that I am just staring at my own reflection. WTF??? Why would someone come up to a complete stranger AND A PAYING CUSTOMER and say that? It was so random and weird and inappropriate. I was dumbfounded. Time to go. Paying was complicated. I could pay for the drinks with a credit card, but they wouldn 't accept a credit card to pay for the food. Seriously stupid. Luckily I had cash. Boulder City is a tourist town. There are a fair number hotels, motels and also a few very decent watering holes. Someone might see the Boulder Inn Suites and think that its cool that theres a bar attached to the hotel and decide to stay there based on that. My advice Stay Out Of The Bar. IT SUCKS. Head down the road into the historic district and you 'll find great FRIENDLY places for libations and food Jacks, MIlos Wine Cellar, Boulder Dam Brewery, Dillingers, Evans... And to the owners of the Inner Circle Lounge You have no business running a public establishment. If you are going to make PAYING CUSTOMERS feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, you need to just find some trailer out in the middle of the desert and do your inner circle partying there. That would be a win win for all concerned. This was more of a rant than a review. But I stand by it.
Place is horrible it smells like cigarets smoke penetrated. Out dated and nasty
