Le Shack Du Pecheur Boucherville

I had to go to the seafood plate twice. on the expensive side at $170. but with two full lobsters, snow crumbs crawling crawling crawling crawling cajau frit and a gigantic part of the fried calamari, which we had to take home, it was delicious.

Booked a table for 5; they gave us a small table for 4 with 5 chairs, explaining that was it… So we went to Bistro à Lulu, asked for a table for 5, and they gave us a small table for 6 so that we have room for 5, as expected in any place calling itself a restaurant. We will never know if the food is good, but it was very good at Bistro à Lulu, and we won't go back to Shack, to whom profit looks more important than customer experience...

Dinner for 2 last minute and they were able to accommodate us just before the dinner rush. A+. The fried calamari appetizer was delicious and well portioned. The Surf and Turf burger was excellent, just the right mix of burger and shrimp. The shrimps were huge and very well seasoned which made for a really interesting taste combo. The overall price for 2 people with the main plate, appetizer and 1 alcoholic beverage each was very reasonable. Will recommend!

I went with a few friends from far. The service is very good, very attentive waitress, and even though we had a few tiny issues (like flat beer), they addressed everything. We food was very delicious, especially the fried shrimps (Bang Bang), the fish chips, the imperial lobster roll, oysters etc. Lots of variety to choose from. My only critic on the food was the excess batter on the fried calamari. Overall would recommend!

We were always outside so the ambiance was nice, inside decor seems a bit tacky. Ww tried most items on the menu. The seafood platter is pretty worth it. The Accra de morue was so-so. Clam chowder was nothing special. Daily special of scallops was nicely cooked, small portion but the salad undwr it was tasty. Fish and chips were OK. They have nice sangria selection. We like the outside terrace better.
