Cote Jardin - Bouc-Bel-Air

Our first Wee trip in the outland in almost three years, we had a meal in a cheese restaurant on the eve and were all in the mood for a steak! côté jardin was the closest to our daughter to house, and although this looks like a pleasant outdoor restaurant in warmer months, we were sitting just a table away from the observation window to the big grilling room. three (entrecôte) steaks and a (côte d’agneau) lamb were ordered with a liter house red, and soon we were all in the flesh sky. our Barbecue cook has made fun to watch, the whole restaurant kept him busy, and we built a rapport so we have a selfie with him in the background. a crème brûlée and a few caffe gourmands for dessert ended our meal, and nothing remained on the tellers. the prices are comparable to home back (in Scotland,) we would highly recommend this culinary experience, simple and honest meal served in a beautiful atmosphere.

Stopped for dinner on a Saturday night, place was pretty crowded with people of all ages and groups of all sizes. Our waiter was simply amazing with a great sense of humour. The food was simply delicious with an excellent value. Try the salade de...confit de canard et magret fumé... delicious !

This restaurant has an amazing feel about it. It was busy when we went but the waiters were friendly and helpful. No pressure to order and no pressure to leave once we had finished our meal. The food was great with good size portions and...very reasonably priced. All in all well worth a visit....we'll be back for sure.

We found this place by accident, en route to Aix-en-Provence. An unassuming restaurant that was bustling with local people, food, and wines. A great lunch spot, with freshly looked French cuisine. Superb!
