Bidrage med feedbackGreat food, treats and cakes but bad customer service from Esperanza. I don't go to a business to argue with employees.Update:I voiced my opinion about the service I experienced at this business and got immediate backlash for it by the owner or manager, not sure. They did not apologize or made it clear that they will discuss with their employees on customer service. They went on a instagram rant and side posted how their employee is great. She may be great but I did not experience her greatness this morning and that should be simply corrected. Customer service training needs to be held evidently.
I called in for a cake and they said they had it but when I went to pick it up they acted clueless and the cake wasn’t made. This was on 9/11/23. This place can’t be trusted and most of the staff is very rude on top of that it is very expensive and not a lot of filling a lot of frosting that about it
The cake was perfect, great job!!!! Excellent Service!!! I also ordered some empanadas and they were delicious!
I was there to pick up a cake for my son's birthday, The staff it's extremely rude. They don't smile, They make you feel very uncomfortable as if I was there to bather them. I ask a young lady if there was any pastelitos left and her responds was (she is taking care of you already) and I can understand if they are busy or if she is working with another costumer but I was the only one in the store at the moment. Greeting a costumer in a friendly way with a smile doesn't cost anything but it goes a long way and it makes the costumer feel welcome and it's also more likely to spend more. This was my third and last time there as I had the same experience all 3 times, I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt as we all have bad days but not 3 time in a row that's a habit.
Like other reviews, if you do not speak Spanish, they ignore you. I've been in this establishment twice for deliveries. I stood there at the register as 3 different employees looked at me and ignored me while yelling next to others who came in after. They clearly do not want the business of certain types of colored folk. I get this same feeling from many Hispanic establishments in the Roxbury/Jamaica Plain area
