Salvatore's-Theater District - Boston

There was a piece of shiny steel, the size of a small nail, in my chicken parmigiana- I felt it in my mouth, luckily didn’t swallow it. They were not particularly concerned or sympathetic. Weird experience.

Awful. Server was so rude. I wouldn’t be surprised if she spit in our food. Hostess was lit. Manager was afraid of both of them. We’ll never be back.

The first bad sign was that we sat down at the table and it was dirty and greasy. As we wanted to have a leisurely dinner we ordered salads and then waited until done to order the entree. The entree then arrived within 5 minutes which told us it was pre-made and it was only luke warm. We ordered a bolognese to share and the pasta was more than al dente it was under cooked. Will not go there again and will steer others away from going there.

Our go to place pre-theater. Johnny our server was great. The pizza was good but the eggplant Parmesan was off. The sauce was bland and overall the dish was not good. Our daughter enjoyed her chicken pasta alfredo.

We went to see a show at the Opera House and Salvatore’s is right next door. The food was outstanding. The crust on the flat bread was super thin and crispy. The meatballs and the sauce were outstanding! We ate at the bar and the bartender was excellent.
